Head of Sales and Marketing

About the role

The Head of Sales and Marketing will lead the development and execution of integrated sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets for the company. Reporting to senior management, this role oversees both teams, ensuring alignment with market opportunities and customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plans that support revenue and market‑share objectives.
• Lead, mentor and manage the sales and marketing teams to deliver high performance.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships and distribution channels across the building‑materials and logistics sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, developers, architects and distributors.
• Develop pricing, promotional and go‑to‑market strategies to maximise sales effectiveness.
• Oversee digital marketing, brand management, advertising and promotional campaigns.
• Monitor market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activities to uncover growth opportunities.
• Prepare sales forecasts, marketing budgets, performance reports and KPI dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• 6–10 years of progressive sales and marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, preferably in building‑materials, construction, ceramics, tiles, sanitary ware or related industries.
• Strong B2B sales, channel development and key‑account management experience.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Solid analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to interpret market trends and business performance.
