Head of Programme – Strategic Lead for Social Interventions

About the role

The Head of Programme will lead the design, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of all social intervention programmes, ensuring they align with the organisation’s strategic goals and deliver measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and oversee social intervention programmes from concept through execution, establishing frameworks, KPIs and reporting structures.
• Develop and strengthen monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) systems to track outcomes, impact and ROI.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, manage budgets and resources, and ensure compliance with risk and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, International Development or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in programme or project management within social impact, humanitarian or development contexts.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale programmes, developing operational frameworks and measuring impact.
