Growth Strategist

About the role

We are looking for a Growth Strategist to lead the development and execution of YouTube growth initiatives for both long‑form videos and Shorts. You will work closely with the founders and video editors to turn data‑driven insights into compelling content that drives audience retention, watch time and qualified leads.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement YouTube growth strategies for long‑form and short‑form video formats.
• Research target audiences, competitors, trends, keywords and content gaps.
• Create engaging video concepts, hooks, titles and thumbnail strategies.
• Optimize videos for click‑through rate, audience retention, watch time and overall channel growth.
• Analyse YouTube Analytics and deliver actionable weekly performance reports.
• Collaborate with founders and video editors throughout the production pipeline.
• Own the end‑to‑end content workflow from ideation to publication.
• Identify opportunities to generate qualified leads and support broader business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven track record of growing YouTube channels with measurable results (minimum 4 years of experience).
• Strong understanding of audience behaviour, SEO, titles, thumbnails and analytics on YouTube.
• Excellent communication, organisation and project‑management abilities.
• Self‑starter attitude with the ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.
• Experience working with founders, personal brands or business‑focused channels is a plus.
