Growth Marketing Manager, SMB

About the role
You will own acquisition and activation for a self‑serve B2B product used by small and mid‑sized businesses across Nigeria and other African markets. Reporting directly to leadership, you will combine digital campaigns with on‑the‑ground outreach to turn hotel managers, logistics operators, car‑rental owners and property managers into active, paying users.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full acquisition funnel – discovery, signup, and first completed workflow – across digital, partnership, community and direct outreach channels.
- Design and run experiments on landing pages, signup flows, activation sequences and re‑engagement campaigns.
- Build dashboards to track sign‑ups, activation rate, time‑to‑first‑value, retention, revenue per account, CAC and LTV by segment.
- Create vertical‑specific acquisition playbooks for hotels, logistics, car rentals, etc.
- Drive organic growth via SEO, content marketing and social media (Instagram, Twitter/X, WhatsApp).
- Identify and activate community and partnership channels such as industry associations and WhatsApp groups.
- Collaborate with product to optimise onboarding, reduce time‑to‑first‑value and implement automated nudges.
- Run paid acquisition campaigns on Meta, Google and TikTok, managing budgets, forecasting and spend efficiency.
Required profile
- Proven experience in growth or user acquisition for B2B SaaS products targeting SMBs.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to design experiments and interpret funnel, cohort and segmentation data.
- Comfortable working both online and in‑person, including field outreach.
- Excellent communication skills to tailor messaging for different industry verticals.
