Group Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Group Accountant to lead financial reporting and consolidation for our hospitality operations in Abuja. The role involves overseeing the group’s accounting function, ensuring accurate financial information for strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate financial statements for the group.
• Manage group budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Support audit processes and internal controls.
• Collaborate with and provide leadership for business units on financial matters.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ANAN, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum 4 years experience in accounting, financial reporting and consolidation.
• Experience in a hospitality group or multinational setting is a plus.
• Age between 35 and 45 years.
• Detail‑oriented and analytical.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.
• Mentally and physically able to manage pressure.
