About the role
The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking a Grants Coordinator to join its Abuja team. The role supports the Grants Manager in ensuring high‑quality programme delivery through effective grant management across NRC’s operations in Nigeria.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Grants Manager in overseeing grant management processes for all NRC projects in Nigeria.
- Work closely with budget holders to ensure donor compliance across the project portfolio.
- Prepare and contribute to timely, high‑quality donor reports and external communications.
- Support the revision and updating of project documentation and grant agreements.
- Coordinate with programme teams to align financial and reporting requirements with operational activities.
Required profile
- Demonstrated passion for assisting refugees and displaced populations.
- Strong interest in humanitarian grant coordination and donor compliance.
- Ability to collaborate with programme and finance teams.
- Enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
