General Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and grow our restaurant portfolio in Abuja. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on operational management to ensure consistent brand standards and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and operational direction across all restaurant locations, translating company strategy into clear operational plans, targets and KPIs.
• Collaborate with managers to develop and implement strategic plans that achieve sales targets, improve efficiency and maintain consistency.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, technology and operating standards, and conduct regular outlet visits to assess performance.
• Recruit, train and coach managers and key personnel, fostering a high‑performing, collaborative work environment.
• Oversee design and delivery of training programs, set performance expectations and conduct regular reviews.
• Analyze sales data, financial and audit reports, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Partner with finance to improve profitability, ensure proper cash handling, monitor pricing, promotions and control food, labour and operating costs.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 8 years of experience in hospitality or restaurant management.
• Proven track record of managing multiple restaurant locations and delivering measurable results.
• Strong leadership and people‑development skills, with the ability to build and motivate high‑performing teams.
• Analytical mindset with experience in financial analysis, cost control and performance monitoring.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with senior management on new initiatives.
