Financial Sales Executive

About the role

The Financial Sales Executive will join Prudential Zenith Life Insurance’s sales team in Abuja, driving growth of insurance solutions through proactive client acquisition and relationship management. This entry‑level position offers the chance to develop expertise in financial needs analysis and insurance product positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective clients via referrals, networking and market research.
• Conduct comprehensive financial needs assessments to recommend appropriate insurance policies.
• Present policy options, explain benefits and coverage, and tailor solutions to individual client goals.
• Prepare and submit accurate sales proposals and related documentation.
• Follow up with clients to address queries, resolve concerns and secure renewals.
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet personal and collective sales targets.
• Stay informed on industry trends, product updates and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Business, Finance or a related discipline (lower credit/second class lower).
• Up to two years of sales experience, preferably in insurance or a related field.
• Completed NYSC or hold an exemption certificate.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to analyse financial needs and match them with suitable products.
