Finance Manager

About the role

A leading distributor of technology, services and lifestyle products in Sub-Saharan Africa is looking for a Finance Manager based in Lagos, Nigeria. The role oversees day-to-day financial operations, ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and supports strategic financial planning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal financial controls
• Supervise payment confirmations and audit coordination
• Collaborate with other departments to reconcile transactions and keep accurate records
• Support strategic planning and financial analysis initiatives
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
• Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements
• Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
• Professional certification such as ACA or ACCA is an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in an ERP system, preferably Dynamics 365
• Microsoft Excel
