Finance Manager

About the role

As Finance Manager you will lead all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory reporting, budgeting, forecasting and tax administration. You will act as a consultant to the CFO and senior managers, driving performance management and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce documented accounting policies and procedures, and oversee outsourced functions.
• Ensure timely payment of accounts payable, collection of receivables, and execution of debt payments.
• Perform periodic bank reconciliations, manage the chart of accounts and general ledger accuracy.
• Oversee tax compliance (VAT, WHT, PAYE) and liaise with tax consultants, auditors and regulators.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and financial statements for internal and regulatory use.
• Coordinate the corporate annual report, provide performance benchmarks and monitor financial performance.
• Champion finance process improvements and provide regulatory reports to compliance.
• Support external auditors during the annual audit.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• Minimum 8 years of finance experience, preferably in an asset management firm.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, ACA or ACCA are an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with financial software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
