Finance Manager – Asset Management

About the role
The Finance Manager will lead financial and management reporting for the Asset Management business, handling end‑to‑end regulatory, statutory and management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and tax remittance.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare regulatory returns (monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual) for the business and managed funds, and coordinate audit engagements.
- Produce management and performance reports, including Exco and board reports, and oversee annual budgeting and periodic forecasts.
- Maintain the general ledger, month‑end journals, and ensure accurate reconciliation and financial controls.
- Coordinate internal, regulatory and statutory tax audits and ensure timely filing and remittance of VAT, CIT, WHT and other taxes.
Required profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA or ICAN) with at least 10 years of experience in capital markets, preferably in a SEC‑licensed fund/portfolio manager.
- Strong analytical, planning and execution skills, high attention to detail and excellent communication abilities.
Required skills
- In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Proficiency with computer accounting systems, Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Experience with Infoware system application (preferred).
