About the role
We are seeking a Finance Executive to join Makarios Consulting Services in Port Harcourt. The role will oversee the full spectrum of financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and effective budget management.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare management reports and financial statements.
- Compute and remit taxes, and support external audits.
- Assist with budgeting, budget control and financial analysis.
- Process payroll and supervise accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain internal controls, invoicing and oversee accounts receivable.
Required profile
- B.Sc in Accounting.
- Professional accounting certification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Minimum five years of experience in an accounting role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and supervisory skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with accounting software.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite.
