Film Extruder Operator

About the role

The Film Extruder Operator will be responsible for running and monitoring the extrusion line that produces film products. This full‑time position is based in Marina, Ogun State, Nigeria, and involves ensuring high‑quality output while adhering to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor extruders, dryers, and pelletizing equipment.
• Control temperature zones, screw speed, pressure, and feed rates.
• Pre‑dry raw materials and nylon chips to prevent moisture defects.
• Perform screen changes, die cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
• Conduct in‑process QC checks including pellet size, moisture, and visual inspection.
• Maintain production logs and follow all HSE safety procedures.
• Support material handling, bagging, and line changeovers.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years (24 months) experience operating extrusion equipment.
• Minimum of an SSCE qualification.
