Field Sales Marketing Executive

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Field Sales Marketing Executive to drive our mosquito‑coil brand across the Marina region of Nigeria. The role involves daily visits to wholesale markets, building relationships with merchants, and reporting market intelligence to the head office.

Key responsibilities

• Follow the company route plan and visit core wholesale markets, covering first‑tier and second‑tier wholesalers as well as retail outlets.
• Research the local mosquito‑coil market, tracking competing brands, prices, buying habits and overall conditions.
• Collect contact details and WhatsApp numbers of wholesalers and retailers and submit them to head office.
• Take photos of market activity and competitor stands and report them daily.
• Maintain and grow sales volume with existing partner merchants through regular contact.
• Identify and onboard new merchants, negotiate partnerships and secure new orders.
• Run local brand promotion via WhatsApp, sharing product content, adverts and promotion policies.
• Gather market problems, competitor moves and customer feedback and relay them to head office in real time.

Required profile

• Long‑term resident of the Marina area with deep knowledge of its wholesale markets and mosquito‑coil trade.
• Fluent in English and the local language, comfortable negotiating with wholesalers and retailers.
• Own a smartphone, capable of taking photos and using WhatsApp, and able to organise work and submit daily reports independently.
• Prior field sales experience in FMCG, household goods or mosquito coils (minimum 3 years).
• Existing relationships with local merchants and wholesalers are a strong advantage.
• Proactive, idea‑driven, honest, hard‑working, disciplined and self‑motivated.
