Female Home Tutor for Primary 1 in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

About the role

A family in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos is seeking a female home tutor for their Primary 1 child. The tutor will work at the client’s residence, providing focused support in basic mathematics, English language, phonics and handwriting improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 2‑hour tutoring sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 4:00 PM.
• Teach basic mathematics concepts appropriate for lower primary level.
• Support reading development through phonics and four‑letter word practice.
• Guide the student in improving handwriting skills.
• Motivate the child to engage actively with the learning material.

Required profile

• Female tutor preferred.
• Experience or familiarity with the Nigerian primary curriculum.
• Ability to work with a Primary 1 student and adapt teaching methods to young learners.
• Reliable, punctual and able to commit to the specified schedule.
