About the role

A private client in Maitama, Abuja is seeking a qualified female home tutor to provide focused instruction in Physics and General Mathematics for a single SSS 2 student. The role aims to prepare the learner for national examinations such as WAEC, UME, NECO, and JUPEB through mastery‑based learning.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver two hours of personalized tutoring each session, covering the Nigerian secondary school curriculum for Physics and Mathematics.
• Prepare lesson plans that align with exam objectives and reinforce core concepts.
• Assess the student’s progress regularly and adapt teaching methods to ensure mastery.
• Provide homework support and clarify doubts during scheduled sessions.

Required profile

• Female tutor with a strong background in Physics and Mathematics at the senior secondary level.
• Experience preparing students for WAEC, UME, NECO, or JUPEB examinations.
• Ability to travel to the client’s residence in Maitama and maintain a professional, punctual schedule.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of the Nigerian Physics curriculum.
• Proficiency in teaching General Mathematics concepts.
