Facility Manager – Luxury Hotel Operations

About the role

The Facility Manager will lead the planning, coordination and continuous improvement of all hotel buildings, infrastructure and physical assets, ensuring a safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and coordinate preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance programmes for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, elevators, generators, water treatment and fire safety systems.
• Develop and manage the hotel’s asset register, monitor asset performance and schedule replacements or refurbishments.
• Oversee energy and utility consumption, implement conservation initiatives and ensure uninterrupted utility supply.
• Prepare and control the annual facilities and maintenance budget, monitor expenditures and optimise cost‑effective solutions.
• Manage relationships with contractors, vendors and service providers, evaluate performance and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, fire safety, occupational health and environmental requirements through regular inspections and risk assessments.
• Lead, coach and schedule the facility maintenance team, conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.
• Coordinate renovation, refurbishment and expansion projects, monitor timelines, quality and budgets, and report progress to senior management.
