Executive Quality Control

About the role

The Executive Quality Control professional ensures that raw materials, in‑process products and finished pharmaceutical products meet required quality standards, complying with regulatory guidelines, GMP requirements and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and non‑routine analysis of raw materials, in‑process samples, finished products and stability samples.
• Conduct chemical, physical and instrumental analysis using HPLC, GC, UV spectrophotometer and dissolution apparatus.
• Review and interpret analytical data, ensuring accurate documentation and preparation of Certificates of Analysis.
• Maintain laboratory instruments, perform calibration, validation and schedule upkeep.
• Participate in method validation, method transfer and verification activities.
• Investigate Out of Specification, Out of Trend and deviations, supporting root‑cause analysis and CAPA implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with analytical equipment such as HPLC, GC, UV spectrophotometer and dissolution apparatus.
• Experience in method validation, method transfer and verification.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP and regulatory requirements (NAFDAC, WHO, FDA).
• Understanding of data integrity principles (ALCOA+).
