Executive Driver - Lekki Phase 1

About the role

A company is looking for a responsible, experienced and safety-conscious Executive Driver to provide reliable, professional transportation to management and designated personnel. The driver ensures safe, timely and efficient transport, keeps the vehicle in good condition and complies with road traffic and safety regulations. The position is based in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos; candidates must live there or be able to commute reliably, and accommodation is not provided.

Key responsibilities

• Drive passengers to and from appointments, meetings, business engagements, airports, residences and events, planning routes to minimise delays
• Maintain the vehicle through daily pre- and post-trip checks, monitoring fuel, tyres, oil, coolant, brakes, lights and battery, keeping it clean and secure, and coordinating servicing and repairs
• Keep records of fuel usage, servicing, repairs and mileage, and ensure vehicle documents and statutory requirements are up to date
• Comply with Nigerian traffic laws and company policies, observe speed limits, drive defensively and never drive under the influence
• Report accidents, damage or safety concerns immediately and keep passenger movements and schedules confidential
• Assist with loading and unloading, airport pickups and drops, errands and other administrative tasks assigned by management

Required profile

• SSCE, OND/ND or HND from a recognised institution
• Valid Nigerian driver's licence and LASRRA registration or proof of registration, where applicable
• At least 3 years of professional driving experience preferred; corporate, executive, family or company driver experience is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Lekki, Victoria Island, Ikoyi and Lagos Island routes, and a clean driving record
• Good communication skills, discretion, reliability and physical fitness
• Must reside in Lekki Phase 1 or be able to commute reliably; accommodation is not provided
