Estate Surveyor

About the role

Kenex Konsults International is seeking a qualified Estate Surveyor to join its real‑estate team in Abuja. The role involves delivering professional valuation, property management, and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and industrial assets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct valuations for sales, acquisitions, mortgage, insurance, taxation and investment purposes.
• Prepare detailed valuation reports in line with professional standards and regulations.
• Inspect properties to assess condition, market value and investment potential.
• Carry out feasibility studies and highest‑and‑best‑use analyses for development projects.
• Manage residential and commercial property portfolios, including lease administration, rent collection and renewals.
• Oversee maintenance activities and coordinate with contractors and service providers.
• Provide advice on property acquisition, disposal, leasing and investment decisions.
• Conduct market research, analyse trends and prepare investment appraisal reports.
• Negotiate lease agreements, management contracts and property transactions.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian property laws and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Estate Management and Valuation.
• At least 12 months of experience in estate surveying, valuation or property management.
• Membership of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) – required or in progress.
• Registration with the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON) – an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of valuation methodologies, estate management principles and Nigerian property legislation.
