ERP Implementation Consultant

About the role

Bave Design Studio, a Christian agency providing websites, e-commerce solutions and business systems, is looking for an experienced ERP Implementation Specialist to help build its ERP offering, implement systems for clients and train their teams. The position is remote, based in Lagos, with client-site visits and occasional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their operations and turn their requirements into ERP workflows.
• Lead implementation: system configuration, data migration, testing, launch and user onboarding.
• Configure and train users across modules such as POS, inventory, purchasing, sales, CRM, HRM, accounting and reporting.
• Help retail businesses improve stock control, replenishment, returns, reconciliation and multi-branch operations.
• Set up user roles, permissions, approval processes and reports.
• Deliver remote and on-site training and provide post-implementation support.
• Create user guides, training videos and implementation documentation.
• Work with developers to identify gaps, define improvements and test new features.
• Coordinate with clients' finance teams on tax settings, VAT calculations, invoicing and reporting.

Required profile

• Hands-on experience implementing ERP systems for businesses, including retail.
• Experience taking an implementation from requirements gathering through launch and training.
• Strong understanding of retail operations and how ERP modules fit together.
• Ability to train technical and non-technical users clearly and patiently.
• Good organisation, communication and client management skills; able to work independently in a remote team.
• Lives in Lagos and can visit clients' offices there and travel occasionally.

Required skills

• Data migration, system configuration, permissions and troubleshooting.
• Documenting requirements and collaborating with developers.
• ERPNext, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP Business One or comparable platforms are welcome; experience is not limited to one product.
• Nigerian tax and VAT workflows, e-commerce integrations and SaaS platforms are an advantage.
