Engineering Manager – Lending & Credit Platforms

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers building and scaling reliable technology solutions for our lending and credit products. The role combines strong technical expertise with people leadership, working closely with Product, Data, Risk, and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing engineering team.
• Own technical direction and delivery of systems supporting lending and credit products.
• Design, develop and scale reliable backend services and distributed systems.
• Participate in architectural decisions to ensure scalability, maintainability and resilience.
• Set engineering standards for code quality, testing, deployment, observability and reliability.
• Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks and system reliability issues.
• Plan, prioritize and ensure timely delivery of engineering initiatives.
• Support incident management, root‑cause analysis and follow‑up.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend focus.
• 2+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams.
• Proven experience delivering complex technical projects from design to production.
• Experience in fintech, lending, credit or payments domains.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Golang (primary backend language).
• React (frontend exposure).
• Design and building of distributed, event‑driven microservices.
• Relational database design, optimization, indexing and query performance.
• System design, APIs, CI/CD, testing, monitoring and production operations.
• Cloud infrastructure and modern DevOps practices.
• AI‑native development familiarity.
