Employee Relations Partner (HR)

About the role
Moniepoint is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Partner to join its Human Resources team in Lagos. The role focuses on maintaining a fair, compliant, and high‑performance workplace culture across the organization’s operations.
Key responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on disciplinary actions, grievances, investigations, and terminations while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.
- Partner with leaders, HR Business Partners and Legal teams to resolve complex employee relations cases with fairness and consistency.
- Support change‑management initiatives and culture programs that promote open communication, inclusion and psychological safety.
- Analyze ER trends and case data to identify root causes, develop preventive strategies and inform policy updates.
- Maintain accurate case records and documentation for internal audit, appeals or external legal challenges.
- Liaise with Legal, Internal Control, Compliance and other functions on case‑specific matters, escalating as required.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
- 3–5 years of progressive HR or Employee Relations experience, including direct case management in a regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and employment practices; exposure to multiple geographies is a plus.
