DevOps Engineer – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a remote DevOps Engineer on a contract basis to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for a global IT services client. The role focuses on automating infrastructure, ensuring reliable deployments, and supporting both production and staging environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production and staging issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments and integrations.
• Apply security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong background in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Solid understanding of Git version control and branching strategies.
