Data Entry Officer – Edo State

About the role

The Data Entry Officer will ensure merchant and product data is accurately entered and maintained in the Moniebook platform, supporting fast onboarding and reliable reporting for retail customers.

Key responsibilities

• Input, update and maintain merchant data, product catalogues, SKUs, pricing and inventory levels.
• Process bulk CSV imports, validate formats and ensure completeness before upload.
• Prepare merchant accounts for onboarding by populating required data within agreed timelines.
• Conduct data quality checks, correct errors, remove duplicates and flag anomalies.
• Maintain detailed logs of data entry activities and document common errors to build a knowledge base.
• Fulfil ad‑hoc data requests from onboarding, account management and support teams within SLA windows.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years experience in data entry, data operations or a similar role, preferably in SaaS, retail tech or fintech.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a proven record of high accuracy on large data volumes.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data cleaning, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and basic formulas.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms or POS/back‑office SaaS tools.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
