Cyber Transformation Lead (Alliance-Led)

About the role

The Cyber Transformation Lead is an Associate‑Director level position responsible for turning KPMG's Microsoft Security and Cyber alliance pipeline into signed, revenue‑generating engagements across Africa. The role blends senior client‑facing presence with deep expertise in cybersecurity transformation, overseeing end‑to‑end pursuits and delivery of large‑scale security programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Own a personal cyber revenue target linked to Microsoft Security and Cyber alliance opportunities.
• Lead major cyber transformation pursuits from qualification through contract signature, acting as the senior technical and commercial voice.
• Shape complex mandates such as SOC build‑outs, IAM transformations, Zero Trust programmes, and cyber resilience frameworks into commercial propositions.
• Deliver large‑scale cybersecurity programmes, managing multidisciplinary teams, alliance partners, and subcontractors while ensuring quality, client satisfaction and margin.
• Maintain RAID discipline, intervene early on risks, and uphold delivery standards.
• Develop thought leadership, publish insights, speak at industry events, and support go‑to‑market propositions with Microsoft.
• Mentor and develop cybersecurity capability within the broader T&I team.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in cybersecurity transformation and client‑facing roles.
• Proven track record of leading revenue‑driven cyber engagements and managing complex delivery programmes.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with alliance partners, especially Microsoft’s security ecosystem.
• Ability to represent KPMG as the senior technical authority in executive steering committees.
