Customer Relationship Officer

About the role

The Customer Relationship Officer will drive the acquisition and onboarding of new SME clients for Gap Financial Technologies. You will act as the primary point of contact, promoting loan and financial products while ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, acquire, and onboard new SME customers.
• Promote loan and financial products and achieve monthly sales/disbursement targets.
• Manage assigned customer portfolios, monitor loan utilisation and repayments.
• Conduct client visits, business assessments, and post‑disbursement monitoring.
• Support KYC documentation, initial credit assessment, and loan processing.
• Follow up on repayments and assist collections and recovery activities.
• Build strong customer relationships and resolve complaints promptly.
• Identify cross‑selling and portfolio growth opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, KYC/AML requirements, and credit procedures.
• Prepare regular reports on sales, collections, portfolio performance, and customer activities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Risk, Credit Administration, Operations, Finance, and Collections teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing or related field.
• 2–5 years’ experience in customer relationship management, sales, credit operations or financial services.
• Experience in loan sales, SME lending, customer onboarding, collections and portfolio management.
• Knowledge of KYC/AML, credit assessment and loan processing.
• Professional certification in Credit, Sales, CRM or Financial Services is an advantage.
