Country Manager – Freight Forwarding

About the role

The Country Manager will lead the profitable development of DP World’s freight forwarding business in the country, shaping strategy, driving growth, and ensuring strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term business plans, budgets and commercial pipelines in collaboration with regional teams.
• Oversee setup of local operations, manage risks, and adapt products to local market and customs practices.
• Drive profit and loss accountability, monitor financial performance and implement cost‑control measures.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers, ensuring service excellence.
• Lead, motivate and develop the local management team, setting performance objectives and conducting reviews.

Required profile

• 4‑year degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
• 6–8 years of international clearing and forwarding experience, with at least 3–4 years in a senior executive role.
• Strong business acumen, ability to interpret financial statements and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Packages (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Computer literacy with ability to adopt new technologies.
