Dispatch Rider

About the role

The Dispatch Rider role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Lagos State, Nigeria. You will be responsible for picking up and delivering packages, documents and small items to clients, partners and internal teams. The role requires safe riding, accurate record‑keeping and professional customer interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan daily delivery routes, confirm addresses and contact details, and ensure timely, safe deliveries.
• Maintain accurate logs of pickups, drop‑offs and receipts, and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Inspect and service the motorcycle regularly, adhering to traffic rules and company safety policies.
• Provide courteous, professional service to clients during each delivery and support basic errands as needed.

Required profile

• Strong road safety awareness, good knowledge of Lagos routes and ability to follow GPS or map directions.
• Excellent time‑management, planning and organisational skills to handle multiple deliveries.
• Clear communication and customer‑service skills for professional interaction with clients and team members.
• Valid motorcycle riding licence, proven riding experience and ability to lift small‑to‑medium packages.
• Reliability, honesty and a strong sense of responsibility when handling items and confidential documents.
• Minimum secondary school education; prior dispatch or courier experience is an advantage.
