Corporate Skill Pool Manager

About the role

The Corporate Skill‑Pool Manager provides enterprise‑wide leadership for technical capability development, competence management, and workforce readiness across all business units of a leading energy and industrial operations organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams and Skill Pool Managers to ensure consistent execution of capability initiatives.
• Oversee enterprise governance of the Skill Pool Management System, establishing standards, frameworks and performance benchmarks.
• Consolidate and analyse skill data to identify gaps, risks and future capability needs, supporting manpower planning and budgeting.
• Champion individual development plans for key technical talent and drive succession planning for critical roles.
• Harmonise competence frameworks, ensure consistent use of assessment tools and drive continuous improvement in technical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geosciences, Business or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications and membership in recognised technical bodies.
• Minimum 15 years in senior technical or professional leadership roles with experience in capability development, competence framework design or workforce planning.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams in complex, large‑scale organisations.
