Corporate Sales Manager - Nigeria

About the role

eRecruiter is recruiting, on behalf of its client, a Corporate Sales Manager based in Lagos, Nigeria. The client represents a leading professional and consumer technology brand in Sub-Saharan Africa, centred on the Apple brand and products. The role reports to the Commercial Director, who is based in South Africa, and is described as a senior sales position.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a solutions seller and bring energy to a sluggish part of the market
• Develop a short-term and long-term pipeline and secure deals through close follow-up
• Explore business development opportunities by networking with key players in the Nigerian business community
• Build a deep knowledge of the product and act as the Apple expert

Required profile

• Experience in the solution selling methodology
• Experience presenting to C-level executives (CEO, CIO, CMO, CFO, CHRO)
• Proven track record of solution selling at an executive or decision-making level
• 5+ years of experience in technology, operations management, consulting, investment banking or a related field
• Experience creating, executing and tracking a sales plan, and successfully executing business development and partnership negotiations
• Degree in business, finance or sales/marketing (MBA preferred)
