About the role

We are seeking a Corporate & Commercial Associate to join our legal team. The role involves drafting and negotiating complex agreements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic initiatives across the electricity infrastructure sector.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate complex corporate agreements and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with securities laws and related regulations.
• Advise on corporate governance matters, including board responsibilities and SEC filings.
• Support M&A processes and other strategic initiatives.
• Provide guidance on intellectual property rights and tax implications of transactions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks.
• Deliver legal training and guidance to internal clients.
• Manage board meetings and provide ongoing corporate secretarial support for electricity infrastructure, supply agreements, and power purchase agreements.

Required profile

• LLB or equivalent degree with strong academic credentials; a master’s degree or ISCAN membership is a plus.
• 4‑6 years of experience in corporate law, preferably with exposure to securities, governance, intellectual property, and tax matters.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities, capable of presenting complex information clearly.
• Passion for sustainability and technology.
• Experience thriving in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
