Corporate Affairs Manager

About the role

Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc, Nigeria's leading integrated sugar producer and a subsidiary of Dangote Industries Limited, is looking for a Corporate Affairs Manager. The role shapes and safeguards the company's reputation by managing stakeholder relationships, driving strategic communications and promoting a consistent, positive corporate image across all platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) and digital media plans aligned with business goals, and ensure brand consistency across channels.
• Manage PR and communication agencies, secure press coverage, write press releases and build media partnerships.
• Implement internal communication strategies with HR and other functions, edit the monthly bulletin and oversee corporate publications.
• Oversee social media, newsletter and internal content creation, run influencer marketing campaigns and track digital engagement metrics.
• Coordinate CSR initiatives, partnerships, volunteer programs, fairs, exhibitions, sponsorships and community events.
• Monitor PR and media impact, prepare regular reports on communication effectiveness using KPIs.
• Mentor team members, conduct quarterly KPI reviews and foster collaboration and innovation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mass communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field; a Master's or professional certification in Corporate Communications, Public Relations or Marketing is an added advantage.
• Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in Corporate Affairs, Public Relations or Strategic Communications.
• At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role within a reputable organization.
• Proven track record in managing corporate reputation, media relations and CSR initiatives.
