Club Manager – Recreational Facilities

About the role

The Club Manager will oversee all aspects of the recreational club to deliver a vibrant and engaging experience for members, ensuring high standards of service, safety and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Report functionally to the Club President and handle special assignments.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the recreational club, supervising staff, scheduling activities and ensuring smooth facility operation.
• Develop and oversee the club budget, monitor expenditures and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Maintain club facilities, overseeing maintenance, repairs and upgrades to guarantee safety and cleanliness.
• Lead HR functions for club staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation and scheduling.
• Supervise contractors, process invoices, monitor contract ceilings and ensure work aligns with budgetary provisions.
• Implement safety measures and address grievances from staff and club members promptly.

Required profile

• University degree (minimum second class lower) or HND (minimum Upper Credit) in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a management role covering operations, administration or human‑resources.
• Prior club or recreational facility management experience is an advantage.
• Demonstrated strategic and motivational leadership, people‑management and commercial mindset.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and negotiation abilities.
