Chinese Interpreter

About the role

The company seeks a proficient Chinese Interpreter to support communication between Chinese‑speaking personnel and English‑speaking stakeholders across meetings, site activities and daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate interpretation between Chinese and English during meetings, site activities, business discussions and daily operations.
• Facilitate effective communication among Chinese‑speaking personnel, management, clients, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Translate documents, emails, instructions, reports and other business materials as needed.

Required profile

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, both spoken and written.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience as a Chinese Interpreter/Translator (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret accurately and convey information clearly.
• Good knowledge of Nigerian business/workplace environments (advantage).
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a multicultural environment.
• Experience in construction, interior decoration, building materials, engineering or related industries (advantage).
