About the role
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team at Jollofboss by Motty's Gourmet in Abuja. The role involves handling transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a tidy checkout area.
Key responsibilities
- Process transactions: scan items, input product codes, and handle cash, credit cards, debit cards, and digital payments accurately.
- Manage cash drawer: count cash at the start and end of shifts, calculate correct change, and balance registers.
- Provide customer service: greet customers warmly, answer questions, apply coupons, and resolve complaints or returns.
- Maintain work area: keep the checkout counter clean, organized, and stocked with bags and receipts.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of an HND or Degree.
- No experience or less than 1 year in a similar role.
- Experience using a POS system.
Required skills
- POS system operation.
What we offer
- Salary range: NGN 70,000 – 150,000 per month.
