Business Relationship Manager – Remote

About the role

We are looking to hire a Business Relationship Manager who will lead POS merchant acquisition, develop sales strategies and identify growth opportunities for Moniepoint’s financial platform.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in business development activities and acquire new customers for the bank’s products and services.
• Drive POS merchant acquisition through cold calling, networking and social media outreach.
• Create and execute marketing strategies to meet sales targets.
• Conduct daily meetings with the sales team, review performance and plan weekly activities.
• Maintain and grow existing business relationships and conduct market research to identify opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on products and services, gather customer feedback and recommend appropriate financial solutions.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of sales experience, preferably in banking, fintech or related industries.
• Strong understanding of the local financial services market.
• Experience in merchant onboarding and managing POS devices, with a network of enterprise merchants considered an advantage.
• Strong business acumen, analytical thinking and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a tertiary education from a recognised institution.
