Business Manager

About the role

The Business Manager will lead day‑to‑day operations across multiple subsidiaries, ensuring efficiency, cost control and regulatory compliance while driving commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee core operations, inventory control and cost management across shipping, auto parts and building materials divisions.
• Develop and execute aggressive sales and marketing strategies to increase market share and build high‑value supplier and client relationships.
• Prepare mid‑term business plans, budgets, resource plans and quarterly revenue forecasts for senior leadership.
• Monitor KPIs, implement process improvements and ensure compliance with customs, bonded terminal and trade regulations.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate cross‑functional teams, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Engineering or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of post‑qualification experience in commercial management, business operations or strategic leadership.
• Proven experience in automotive distribution, construction materials or shipping/freight forwarding is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of supply chain workflows, import/export processes and inventory control.
• Strong B2B sales management, market expansion and business development expertise.
• Ability to translate corporate goals into actionable plans, budgets and operational benchmarks.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
