Business Development Officer

About the role

Swift Consulting is seeking a proactive Business Development Officer to expand its media and advertising portfolio across Port Harcourt and the wider Rivers State region. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for the company’s advertising solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Generate leads, convert prospects into paying clients, and promote media and advertising solutions.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals while meeting sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition, preferably within media or advertising.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Excellent relationship management and networking skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
