Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth and expand market reach for ZICS, a leader in security doors, gates and custom furniture. Based in Ibadan, this full‑time on‑site position focuses on identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships and promoting the brand.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities, building partnerships with distributors, resellers and B2B customers.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends and competitor strategies.
• Create and execute sales plans that meet or exceed revenue targets, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
• Develop and run marketing campaigns across digital, offline and direct channels to increase brand visibility.
• Maintain strong customer relationships, provide post‑sales support and manage a loyalty/referral programme.
• Design competitive pricing strategies and negotiate contracts while ensuring profitability.

Required profile

• Proven track record in business development and sales, preferably in manufacturing, construction or real‑estate sectors.
• Strong networking and relationship‑management abilities with the capacity to work independently.
• Demonstrated success in meeting monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
