Business Development Intern

About the role

The Business Development Intern will support ZICS’s growth by identifying new opportunities, engaging prospects and strengthening market presence. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual eager to learn about sales, marketing, customer acquisition and business strategy within a manufacturing and IoT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in identifying new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Generate leads and maintain CRM entries.
• Participate in customer engagement, follow‑ups and product presentations.
• Help prepare proposals, quotations and marketing materials.
• Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis.
• Support social media management and business communication.
• Contribute to business development campaigns and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with Operations & Product teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• HND/BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Social Sciences or related fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Google Workspace).
• Interest in technology, manufacturing or product development is a plus.
