Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead government engagement and partnership initiatives for CRBC Nigeria, focusing on expanding the company’s footprint across the southern states.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with state government officials, agencies and regulatory bodies.
• Identify, evaluate and secure new business opportunities that align with CRBC’s strategic goals.
• Develop and manage partnerships with public and private sector organisations to drive growth.
• Represent the company at meetings, conferences and networking events across southern Nigeria.
• Provide market intelligence and recommendations to senior leadership based on regional trends.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in business development, government relations or public affairs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel extensively across southern states.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Political Science, Public Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and managing relationships.
