Business Development Executive – Health Insurance

About the role

The Business Development Executive will support the growth strategy of a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) by identifying new business opportunities, acquiring clients, and maintaining strong relationships with enrollees and corporate partners. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the role focuses on promoting health plans, conducting market research, and achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate and retail segments, promoting and selling health insurance plans to individuals, SMEs, and large organisations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, manage onboarding, and ensure satisfaction and plan utilisation.
• Conduct competitor analysis and market research, monitor industry trends and regulatory changes, and prepare regular performance reports.
• Collaborate with underwriting, provider relations, customer service, and brand marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery and support growth initiatives.
• Uphold data protection and confidentiality standards, complying with internal policies and relevant regulations.
• Execute any additional duties assigned by the company, including supporting senior management as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–4 years experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably within a healthcare or HMO environment.
