Business Development Associate

About the role

The Business Development Associate will drive sales of foreign‑exchange and cross‑border payment solutions to corporate and SME clients in Nigeria. You will act as a trusted advisor, presenting market insights, hedging strategies and liquidity management options.

Key responsibilities

• Lead high‑impact sales pitches, showcasing sophisticated FX market insights and liquidity solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach to pricing negotiation and contract closure.
• Develop account‑based strategies to acquire new business and deepen existing corporate relationships.
• Use CRM tools to track pipeline performance, maintain client documentation and report revenue metrics to leadership.
• Prepare sales proposals and documentation using the Microsoft Office suite.
• Monitor market trends and provide feedback on pricing and product enhancements.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of experience in FX sales, corporate banking or fintech with a proven client acquisition record.
• Strong network within the Nigerian corporate and SME landscape.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate high‑stakes contracts and manage multiple complex relationships.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model while maintaining consistent productivity.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with CRM platforms.
• Expert use of the Microsoft Office suite.
