B2B Account Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive B2B Account Manager to drive sales and grow relationships with corporate customers in the retail, fashion and FMCG sectors. Based in Port Harcourt, you will own the end‑to‑end sales pipeline and work closely with operations to ensure delivery excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full B2B sales cycle – from cold outreach, lead generation and qualification to proposal development, follow‑up and deal closure.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and ensure a steady flow of new opportunities.
• Nurture existing standing‑order accounts, conduct regular reviews and address customer concerns promptly to drive retention and growth.
• Oversee four‑week product trials, monitor performance and convert successful trials into recurring contracts.
• Coordinate with the operations co‑founder and compliance lead to align customer commitments with production capacity and quality standards.
• Support the development of the B2B sales team by coaching and sharing best practices.
• Provide weekly pipeline reports to the co‑founders, highlighting opportunities, closed deals, lost deals and market insights.
• Assist with broader business needs and adopt a startup mindset.

Required profile

• Minimum HND (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of experience in B2B sales, account management or business development.
• Proven experience selling to restaurants, hotels, catering services or FMCG businesses is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable with cold outreach, in‑person visits and structured negotiation.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel frequently, including trips to Lagos and other cities.
• Resides in Port Harcourt or is willing to relocate.
