Auditor – Internal & External Audits

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Auditor to lead internal and external audit activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and compliance with company policies. The role involves evaluating controls, identifying risks, and recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of financial records and operational processes.
• Review transactions, financial statements, and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Evaluate internal controls, identify risks, discrepancies, and areas of weakness.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Follow up on audit findings to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Assist with external audits and regulatory inspections as required.
• Maintain proper audit documentation and working papers.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in auditing, accounting, compliance, or internal control.
• Professional certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or CIA are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of auditing principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and report‑writing abilities.
• High level of integrity, objectivity, and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while handling confidential information.
