Head of Accounting

About the role

Excel and Grace Consulting is looking for a Head of Accounting to lead the financial function across the Group. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate records, timely reporting and robust financial controls while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely financial records, management accounts and group financial reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and monitor performance against approved budgets.
• Manage cash flow, receivables, revenue reconciliation and enforce financial controls to protect company funds.
• Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, audit and regulatory requirements.
• Provide finance support and monitor performance of all subsidiaries.
• Supervise the Accounts/Finance team to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA or equivalent is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash‑flow management, taxation and financial controls.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
