Assistant Teacher

About the role

The Assistant Teacher will work closely with the class teacher to support daily lesson delivery and classroom activities at Keselash Academy. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about child development who can contribute to a safe and engaging learning environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and practical activities.
  • Provide support to learners during classroom work and hands‑on tasks.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom setting.
  • Offer additional guidance to learners who need extra help.
  • Supervise students during breaks, transitions, and school events.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

  • Minimum of NCE or a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children is an advantage.
  • Patience, friendliness, and strong communication abilities.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
  • Genuine interest in children’s learning and development.
