Assistant Social Media Manager

About the role

The Assistant Social Media Manager will support the Social Media Manager in creating, curating and publishing engaging content across Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in digital storytelling and brand communication within a fast‑moving advertising environment.

Key responsibilities

• Capture photos and short videos for social platforms and edit them into bite‑size clips for Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp Status.
• Write compelling captions, schedule posts and maintain a consistent publishing calendar.
• Design flyers, posts and banners using Canva or similar graphic tools while ensuring brand consistency.
• Monitor trends, generate relevant content ideas and support campaign execution.
• Engage with followers, respond to DMs/comments and track page growth.
• Prepare performance reports for management and assist with promotional activities.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with a passion for social media and digital content.
• Basic video‑capturing and editing abilities.
• Proficiency with Canva or comparable design software.
• Strong communication and creative writing skills.
• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp marketing is a plus.
