Artisan & Service Provider (On‑site)

About the role

Pickwork is looking for skilled artisans and service providers to join its platform and deliver high‑quality, on‑site services across Nigeria. You will travel to client locations, assess their needs, and complete repairs, installations or custom craftsmanship safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to client sites, evaluate service requirements and provide accurate cost and time estimates.
• Perform hands‑on work such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical repairs or cleaning services, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment, document completed jobs, and manage bookings through the Pickwork system.
• Coordinate with the Pickwork team to resolve customer issues and uphold professional conduct.

Required profile

• Demonstrated trade skills in a recognized field (e.g., electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical repairs, cleaning services).
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety standards and ability to complete tasks within agreed timelines.
• Basic record‑keeping and time‑management abilities, including tracking jobs and materials used.
• Willingness to work on‑site across various locations in Nigeria with reliable attendance.
• Relevant vocational training, trade certification or apprenticeship experience is preferred.
• Ability to speak and understand English; familiarity with local Nigerian languages is a plus.
